Education:

·        Postgraduate, Doctor studies and Specialization on Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade

·        Graduate Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade

 

Functions and work experience:

·        She was member of Parliament of the Republic of Serbia three times, member of Committee on Health, and from 2000-2006 member of the Parliament of SR Jugoslavia and later Serbia and Montenegro. In the transitional Government of the Republic of Serbia she was Minister for Family Care and member of Interparliamentary union.

·        Since 1982. she has been professor of Psychiatry on Medical Faculty in Kragujevac, and now of Ethics, Skills and Communication as well. She is founder of the daily psychiatric hospital, Vice president of the Psychiatric Section of Serbia in two mandates, member of the Presidency of the Psychiatric Section of Jugoslavia. At the moment, she is Chief of Psychiatric Department, and dean for International Cooperation of the Medical Faculty in Kragujevac.

·        From 1993-2000 she was director of Clinical Centre of Kragujevac

·        She is mentor for 30 candidates on postgraduate and doctor studies in the field of Neuroscience, and in specialist studies on psychiatry.

·        She was awarded by the Psychiatric Section of the Medical Society of Serbia, got Award for Medical Contributions to the city of Kragujevac and Djurdjevdan award.

·        She has done numerous studies, scientific projects and she is permanent member of Committee for Specialization on Military Medical Academy. She was elected best professor by the senior students, in 2007.

·        She is the author of seven books, two text-books for regular students and co-author of three text-books for postgraduate students. She is the author and co-author of over 200 scientific works and papers.

·        She is a member of Socialistic Party of Serbia since its foundation, in 1990. She was member of Executive Committee of the Main Committee of SPS several times, president of Regional Committee of Sumadija from 2000-2007. She was vice-president of the Main Committee of SPS in 1996 and again in 2006.      Â
