Dear colleague,The COSAC Chairpersons’ meeting on 5 – 6 July was characterized by interested andconstructive participation from all delegations, and it is a great pleasure for me toinvite you and your delegation back to Stockholm for the COSAC Plenary meetingon 4 – 6 October.The meeting itself will take place in the Riksdag on 5 – 6 October. We will start inthe evening of 4 October, with a reception hosted by the City of Stockholm, in theGolden Hall of the Stockholm City Hall.The political agenda of the meeting starts with an exposé of the State of Play of theSwedish Presidency by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. Other items will be theClimate Challenge, Openness and transparency in the EU institutions and in thenational parliaments when handling EU matters, and the Stockholm programme forJustice and Home Affairs cooperation. On Monday 5 October, the Speaker of theRiksdag, Mr Per Westerberg, has invited us all to a dinner at the Vasa museum.I enclose the draft agenda, as approved by the Chairmen's meeting on 6 July, as wellas conference information which provides the necessary details about hotelreservations and conference registration.
