Thank you so much for the invitation to consider to co-sign the House of
Lords’ proposal for a Green Card on Food Waste. I believe it is of great impor-
tance for national parliaments to agree on a possible topic for the first trial
“green card” as soon as possible.
However, as you may know, we have parliamentary elections in Denmark on
18 June 2015. Unfortunately, this means that the Folketing might not have a
new European Affairs Committee before 15 July 2015 and may therefore not
be in a position to respond to your invitation within the fixed deadline.
