The House Standing Committee on Foreign and European
Affairs examined the European Commission Work
Program in December 2015 and has sent it to the sectoral
committees of the House for consideration. Due to the
May parliamentary elections this did not prove possible.

Tithe an Oireachtais
Following parliamentary elections in February 2016 and
protracted talks to form a Government, the Parliamentary
Committees have not yet been re-established so it has
not been possible to examine the Commission Work
Programme for 2016.
