Ideas to the Conference on the future of Europe from the Danish Par-

liament

Dear Sir/Madam;

Please find attached two papers from the European Affairs Committee of the

Danish Parliament to the two Vice-Presidents

of the Commission, Mr. Maroš

Šefčovič and Mrs. Dubravka Šuica. The papers are following the letter to the

Commission dated 15 November 2019 on participation of national parliament

in the Conference on the Future of Europe (also attached). The papers elabo-

rate on two issues mentioned in the original letter: 1) How to strengthen the

role of national parliaments in EU decision making, 2) Ways to engage with

citizens in political dialogue on the future of Europe.

Please find attached two papers from the European Affairs Committee of the

Danish Parliament. The papers are following the letter to the Working Group

dated 25 November 2019 on participation of national parliament in the Con-

ference on the Future of Europe. The papers elaborates on two issues men-
