Dear colleague,
I am writing to you to inform you that the Croatian Parliament will be cancelling
LXIII COSAC which we have set for May 24 to May 26 this year in Zagreb.
In addition to fight against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Zagreb was
hit by a devastating earthquake on Sunday, March 22nd, in which the Croatian
Parliament building has been seriously damaged and out of use, as well as
many other buildings in the historic city centre.
I hope it is understandable that due to these difficult circumstances, we had no
choice but to cancel LXIII COSAC.
In this challenging time, may we all find the strength and determination to
combat together the pandemic, COVID-19 at both European and global level, in
order to stop its further spread as soon as possible, with as few human lives lost
as possible.
